Online Giving Giving our resources to God is not just about the money; it is about the heart. We should remember that God is the source of everything we have. He owns it all! We are merely managers. If the manager is going to please the owner, we must handle the owner’s resources as the owner directs. Many times in scripture, agriculture is used to help us understand the principle of giving. 2 Corinthians 9:6 says this: “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” Before the ground can produce a crop, the ground must be made ready. A plow has to go through and prepare the soil to respond to the growing process.
